Going the distance with God’s word
The Mongolian Union Bible Society (MUBS) serves one of the fastest growing churches in the world. But it is spread across a vast landscape and faces unique challenges. Outside of the capital, Ulaanbaatar (UB), isolated communities are scattered throughout 21 provinces. A third of Mongolians are nomadic herders. To reach many of them, you have to drive for miles on rough, unsealed roads in all kinds of extreme weather.
Mongolia’s new Christians desperately need access to Bibles so they can grow, and then impact the many Mongolians who still don’t know Jesus.
But there’s a problem. The Bible Society team doesn’t have a vehicle capable of handling the task.
