God's Word is where we look for reassurance, hope and peace
Where else can we find our rest in this increasingly uncertain time, than from the God who sustains? In many ways, the fear that is exponentially growing both here in Australia and overseas, reinforces the importance of Bible Society’s work: making God’s word available to as many people as possible across the world. What do we as Christians do each day as we are bombarded by the heartbreaking news of the ongoing spread of the coronavirus?
We Open The Bible. Over the next little while, we will be sharing verses of reassurance, love and comfort to feed your soul and still your heart. #OpenTheBible

A pastoral message from our CEO
Now, more than ever, followers of Jesus who believe in the authority and power of God’s word can walk in God’s peace. Bible Society’s mission to Open The Bible to all people everywhere by all means possible is of critical importance. You and I know to the core of our being that it is God’s word that sustains us no matter the difficulties that surround us.
Exceptional stories of faith inspire us to always rely on God. 'May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.' (Romans 15:13)
Draw upon the well of resources dealing with big topics in a Christian light. "I have set the Lord continually before me. Because He is at my right hand, I will not be shaken." (Psalm 16:8)
