Masterclass is an event for students in Years 9-11 which allows them to explore contemporary issues from a biblical perspective. Masterclass also includes a popular Q&A session, giving students the freedom to ask our panel of speakers searching questions about the Christian faith.
Your students are frequently challenged to give a reason for the hope they have in Jesus. Masterclass helps young Christians to grow in their confidence and withstand the pressures of living in a post-Christian society.

Is Christianity still good news for the world?
Jesus said he came “that they may have life, and have it to the full.” Yet we live in a world which often sees Christians as either weird, intolerant or out-of-date. How can you tell the good news to a hostile world? The early followers of Jesus responded to similar circumstances by loving their enemies, welcoming the stranger, and living lives that made people ask questions. This talk will show you how you can declare and demonstrate the goodness of Jesus to a suspicious world.

Teens, sex and the cyberworld
Your students are the most digitally connected, socially informed, and sexualised generation yet. They are encouraged towards radical individualism, sexual freedom and to build an identity based on experimentation, social media profiles and gender fluidity.
What does it mean to live a life of sexual integrity as a Christian? Patricia will discuss the science of desire, love and intimacy to help your students understand that God has a good plan for sex and relationships, and to stand strong against the seductive pull of the sexual cyberworld.

YouthQ is a new initiative of Bible Society and designed to offer content and connection to youth groups around Australia. We welcome youth leaders everywhere to bring along their high-school aged students to hear from clear and clever Christian apologists.
