Easter is all about Jesus, and Jesus is all about life

Churches around Australia and the South Pacific who have signed up to be a part of Bible Society Australia’s Jesus. All About Life are now a week into running the Easter campaign, which was launched on 1st April…but it’s not too late to be a part of Jesus. All About Life!

“What is life all about?”

This Easter, over 850 churches across the country, and more in the South Pacific, are reaching their communities with the message of life which Jesus offers. “What is life all about?” is the question that is currently resonating in people’s hearts, people who have lived through the disruption of COVID. As Christians, we have the answer to this question. Jesus is the answer to all the big questions of life.

All About Life resources for churches this Easter

Churches who sign up for the campaign are given access to a whole range of resources which will help run Easter services for their local communities. The resource pack is designed so that churches can easily choose tools that will be most helpful for them.

One of these resources is a Jesus. About Life 17-day Bible devotion series, with both written and video content, that individuals and churches alike can participate in. The full series is available at Bible.com.au or you can still sign up for the daily emails to receive them in your inbox each morning. You can also engage with the devotions or via social media or YouVersion. The devotions are written by 17 contributors from around the country and focus on Scripture which teaches the eternal truth that Jesus has come to bring us life, and life in all its fullness.

In the lead up to Easter, there are resources such as:

  • poster downloads,
  • street banner designs,
  • social media graphics,
  • email headers and
  • invitation cards.
  • resources on how to plan a service, and to connect to your local community.

For the Easter weekend itself
there is a wide range of age-appropriate kids’ ministry resources, including:

  • Easter activity sheets,
  • Easter videos,
  • a treasure hunt guide,
  • free books to giveaway.

For Easter services, there are:

  • videos to play,
  • two pre-recorded sermons featuring Bush Church Aid’s first Indigenous Ministry Officer, Pastor Neville Naden, and Sydney Missionary and Bible College’s Dr Mark Stephens.


‘New Beginnings’ for those accepting Jesus’ offer of life

For those new to the Christian faith who are interested in taking up Jesus’ offer of life, there is a brand new edition of the Bible available, specially designed for new believers.

A part of the Jesus. All About Life campaign, is encouraging and refreshing ministry leaders. Bible Society Australia is offering ‘Pastors Care Packs’, which offer pastors and ministers:
