What is the internship?
At Bible Society Australia, we’re passionate about raising up the next generation of leaders.
Bible Society Australia (BSA) is dedicated to impacting and influencing Australia and the world by opening the Bible to all people everywhere by all means possible.
Founded in 1817, BSA is part of a fellowship of 152 Bible Societies around the world. The mission of BSA is to translate, publish, distribute and engage people with the Bible, both in Australia and internationally.
The Bible Society Australia Internship is a paid, part-time (two-days per week), one-year program designed to give young adults practical experience across our different teams and brands.
Interns will contribute meaningfully to the work of Bible Society Australia; stretch themselves with a range of projects; and receive training, support, and mentoring from senior leaders within Bible Society, as well as the Internship Coordinator.

Testimonies from our 2021 interns
I’ve really enjoyed learning from some of the most kind and generous people I’ve ever met about work that really matters. The thinking, community and flexibility I’ve experienced have made this year an impactful one.

When I look back at what I’ve learnt this year, I find it hard to believe that such a valuable and varied program exists! Everyone I met truly believes in what they do, and it was a joy to have them share this with me.
- Emily
I've loved the experience of working with a group of incredibly talented and passionate people, who know that what they do plays an important part in the bigger story. I've especially appreciated the opportunity to think deeply, be stretched, and learn from an absolute wealth of knowledge, learning and life experience.
