Bible Society Australia is committed to raising funds for over 70 projects worldwide in 2025. These projects include Australian and global initiatives, and projects from partner organisations, all with the common goal — to champion the Bible for all people.

Non Tax-Deductible Gifts
A ‘non tax-deductible' donation will support under-funded projects involving international Bible translation, Bible publishing and distribution, Bible engagement through evangelistic events, and fund Bible Societies in countries with limited support.
Tax-Deductible Gifts
Making a ‘tax-deductible’ gift supports projects involving literacy learning, Bible translation in Auslan and Australian Indigenous Languages, and Australian Scripture Grants, offering Bibles to schools and chaplains. This gift also goes to emergency projects that support people in times of crisis, providing relief from suffering and distress.

About the Projects
We make the Bible available in people’s languages by supporting Bible translation work across the world, including Indigenous languages and sign language (Auslan) in Australia.
We encourage the faith journeys of Australian communities and people groups around the world through Bible engagement campaigns, Bible-based literacy programs, and trauma healing programs.
We strengthen the capacity of Bible Societies around the world as they work to recommend, defend and champion the truth and goodness of the Bible in their cultures.
We support various Bible-distribution projects in many parts of the world, and in Australia we provide Scripture Grants for Bibles in schools, for chaplains of hospitals, prisons, the Australian Defence Force and more.
Empowering Women Through Literacy
“The first day I learned to read a letter of the alphabet, I was filled with great joy. When I got home, I spent the time writing the same letter. Later, I learned to write my own name. It was a great achievement for me. Afterwards, the facilitator taught us to read simple and short verses... Now I'm happy and proud of myself. I am respected in my family because of literacy... I also wrote down the simple verses that the facilitator taught us in order to memorise them. It prepares me to be able to remember the memory verses in church.”

Braille Literacy
“I believe the Braille Window project will bring [a] better and brighter future for the visually disabled people. In the past, we had only two trainings and the participants were really satisfied and willing to learn more. They are like a thirsty deer looking after water as it is said in the Bible. Now, we are restarting the project with Bible contents... It will surely give them more access to better education as well as... bring them to the abundant life in Christ. We are looking forward to the great work of God among the blind people...”
