Introducing The Lighthouse

A new Bible Society regular giving program

Shine a light in the dark

Over 1.5 billion people are living without access to the Bible in their language.

Others are unable to afford a Bible, or cannot read to begin with, while millions of others are living life in spiritual darkness. But now, you can shine God’s light around the world – with The Lighthouse.

Lighting the way

Before ships were fitted with GPS, lighthouses provided direction. In deep waters, lighthouses illuminated danger. In dark nights, lighthouses revealed the way home.

But lighthouses couldn’t lead without their lightkeeper. Steadfast and constant, lightkeepers stood  firm in every season, ensuring a safe journey for those at sea.

Today, we are the Lightkeepers

Working together in hope and faith, Lightkeepers share God’s word with a world in darkness. Bible Society invites you to join us, as we refresh and launch our regular giving program, The Lighthouse.

Your monthly donation of $44 a month can Open one Bible every week for those who need one or who have never received a Bible before. We will channel your generous giving to where it’s needed most – for Bible translation, distribution, advocacy, literacy and Bible-with-aid work. And we will continually show you where your money’s going, and report on the lives you are changing.

Be this constant light

With your help we can make a difference here in Australia and around the world.  Please join this community of lightkeepers today, and help shine God’s light in every corner of the globe.

For God, who said, “Let light shine out of darkness,” has shone in our hearts to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ. (2 Cor 4:6, ESV)
