Help bring the life-changing message of Scripture to Australians who need it most.
If the appeal is oversubscribed or the project changes due to unforeseen reasons, we will reallocate remaining funds to similar projects.
Across Australia, many people still lack access to the Bible in a format they can truly understand and engage with.
- Indigenous Australians are waiting for Scripture in their heart languages
- The Deaf Australian community needs the Bible in Auslan
- The vulnerable, and those at life’s crossroads long for hope and direction from God’s word

Your giving can help Open The Bible into more hands and hearts across the nation.
More than half of Indigenous languages in Australia still have no Scripture in their own language. That’s 62 out of 120 languages still waiting to have the Word in their own tongue.

The Pitjantjatjara Translation Journey: Keeping Language and Faith Alive
See how your support is helping complete the Pitjantjatjara Bible and keep faith and language alive in remote communities.
Only 2 books of the Bible have been translated into Auslan, the primary sign language of the Australian Deaf community.

Studies show that those who engage with Scripture four or more times a week are more likely to share their faith and memorise Scripture, and less likely to struggle with loneliness (Center for Bible Engagement study).
This transformation starts with access. Right now, thousands of people—including Indigenous communities, the Deaf community, and those at life's crossroads are waiting for the Bible in a language they can understand.
You Can Help Open The Bible to Many Hearts. Translators and Bible mission workers are passionate and ready, but they need your support.

Your gift today will help:
- Translate and publish the Bible in Indigenous languages and audio Bibles.
- Provide free Bibles through Bible Society Australia Scripture Grants program.
- Translate Scripture into Auslan so the Deaf community can engage with God’s word
Will you give today to help Australians Open The Bible and open their hearts to God’s love?

“After this I looked, and there before me was a great multitude that no one could count, from every nation, tribe, people and language, standing before the throne and before the Lamb. They were wearing white robes and were holding palm branches in their hands.’
