Bike for Bibles

Bike for Bibles is a mostly volunteer-run fundraising initiative for Bible Society Australia. Since it began in 1984, participants in Bike for Bibles rides have raised more than $13 million for Bible Society projects worldwide. This has enabled many thousands around the world to learn to read using God’s Word.

Upcoming Rides

22 October 2016 – Hunter 100 (NSW)

Enjoy some of the roads less ridden in the Hunter Valley as we raise funds to support the Get The Word Out program in South Africa where we are giving children from disadvantaged backgrounds hope through teaching them how to read. To register for the ride please click here.

24 February – 10 March 2017 – Tas Tour 200 (TAS)

To celebrate Bible Society’s Bicentenary in Australia we are tackling some of the best roads in Tasmania over 2 weeks. In total, we will be riding around 1,200km. We are looking for supporters to join us on their bikes and also for roadies to support the riders.  For more information on this ride please click here.

25-26 March 2017 – Round the Bay in 2 Days (VIC)

One of the classic events in the Bike for Bibles calendar. This two-day ride sees riders cover 250km as we ride around Melbourne’s Port Phillip Bay with an overnight stay in Dromana. Stay tuned for registration opening.
