Bibles for Bubs Program
The Bibles for Bubs project introduces children to the Bible from a very young age by providing their parents with age-appropriate Bibles and resources in the first five years of their life. The project enables families to engage with the Bible and encourages them to develop a family Bible reading practice.

Bibles in Schools Grant
Bible Society Australia seeks to serve and equip volunteer teachers and instructors participating in Special Religious Education (SRE) and Christian Religious Instruction (CRI) by providing them with a Scripture Grant for Bibles in Schools to be used during lessons.

Chaplaincy & Parachurch Grant
BSA partners with groups who are ministering to Australians in all areas of life by providing Scripture Grants which can be used to acquire Bibles and Scripture resources. This includes the Chaplaincy and Parachurch grant (C&P), through which BSA supplies Scriptures and gospel resources in English and also heart languages for people from other nations via chaplains and gospel workers.

Disaster Recovery Grant
Bible Society Australia's Disaster Recovery Grants helps to resource front line workers, churches, ministries and individuals affected by natural disasters with Bibles and Scripture resources. This grant serves to equip gospel workers with God's word to encourage and disciple those they serve.

Scriptures for the ADF
Bible Society Australia is partnering with chaplains and christian ministries who are working with the Australian Defence Force by providing Bibles and Scripture Resources.

Translation

Auslan Bible Translation
The Auslan Bible project is working on Bible translation for people in the Australian Deaf community, Opening The Bible to those who can’t hear it. Amy Cruickshanks, a linguist and translation consultant at Bible Society Australia, is collaborating with Rebecca Thurrowgood from Wycliffe Bible Translators and the Auslan Committee to develop resources for Deaf communities and churches throughout Australia.

Supporting Indigenous Translation
Bible Society Australia (BSA) is committed to helping Indigenous Australian’s Open The Bible in their heart languages. Collaborating with local translators, churches, and partner organisations, BSA coordinates and funds workshops and provides expertise through translation consultants. To further the work of Bible translation, BSA supports the training of local Bible translators through the Nungalinya Theological College in Darwin.

Indigenous Audio Bibles
Bible Society Australia is working together with like-minded mission and Bible translation organisations to produce audio recordings of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Scriptures, providing the gospel in a format communities can readily access. This includes translation work, using the Oral Bible Translation method.

Engagement

Indigenous Publishing for Bible Engagement
As the main publisher of Indigenous language Bibles, Bible Society Australia (BSA) prints, reprints and distributes Scriptures across Australia, ensuring communities’ access to the Bible. BSA also develops culturally relevant Scripture resources to enable the non-literate, children, youth, prisoners and those in hospital engage with God’s word. In doing so, BSA’s goal is to convey the hope and love found in Jesus, helping Christians mature in their faith and understanding of God.
